Hi Guys

Please Macro, Do as Charlie42 says. A repair on Vista with the disc
will recover the operating system from almost anything 100%.
Corrupt Partition on HD, Bad .inf Files, Corrupt boot sectors ect....
Try it! A lot less to lose than a reinstall.
