I have a M-Series Gateway Laptop that came with Vista installed on it. When
I try to turn it on, an error screen comes up right after the screen with the
green bars going across the bottom. The error window is titled "LogonUI.exe
- Bad Image". The information in the window is
"C:\Windows\system32\MSIMG32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or
it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original
installation media or contact your system adminstrator or the software vendor
for support." When I hit the "OK" button it just goes to a black screen and
does nothing. This error comes up in all cases "Boot Normal", "Boot Safe
Mode", and "Boot Safe Mode with Command Prompt". I can't get into safe mode
or anything else for that matter. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
