The search results above all point to McAfee anti-virus problems with the
download of vista Service Pack 1.

Above(0ne of the ways supplied there) is download for 5 language(English
included) standalone version of SP1
Just scroll down and pick the 32bit version
It is 434 MBs.
Save it, and burn to a CD for the future!
Will save download time!
