Re: Problem with parameters screen and rotation of the screen

Hi Mr. Howard,

You said: "I'm having some problems understanding... for example, don't know
what "stylet" refers to ...perhaps "stylus?"
You're right. I mean "stylus", if that mean the pencil use with a Tablet PC.
When it's calibrated, the little arrow on the screen is just under the tip
of the pencil and far away if it's not calibrated.

You said too: "OK... the question is if you can then use the graphic utility
while in that orientation to set the resolution to the maximum available
resolution."
I did and unexpectly, that seem to resolve the problem. I don't understant
why I must put the sreen in portrait mode to save the profil (??). Why not
in landscape mode?

But I meet an other problem with the rotation of the screen.
I put my tablet PC in a port replicator when I am at the office principaly
to use a larger screen (Viewsonic Optiquest 21"). Sometimes, I use to ask to
some client to sign a form. So, I rotate the screen in portrait mode, put
off the port replicator and after some flickering of the image, I get a full
screen image at the same resolution that in landscape mode. After the client
has sign the form, I put the Tablet on the port replicator and rotate the
screen right away in landscape mode. After some flickering (about 10
seconds), I got a full screen image in landscape mode at the same resolution
than I was at the beginning. But if I do that 2 more times, the third time
(and forth, fifth, etc.) i come back to the landscape mode, the image stay
in portrait mode. Any idea what can be the cause of that?

Thanks again!
