I need to get a new computer for my son and he informs me tonite that he found out that his Zune is incompatible with Vista. I did research and found that there is a fix for it, but the fix then causes problems for the DVD or CD players installed. i.e. fix one thing, cause more problems.

Any suggestions? I would let him keep my laptop with XP on it but I need it for work.

Is anyone happy with Vista? All I seem to read is that more people are unhappy with it, nothing works with it, it's slower than XP, etc.
