| RE: Internet Connecting Problem!!!! Your PC is getting the IP address your cable company is sending you. So when
your roommate connects it won't work because its not the same PC. I would
purchase a Linksys router and then you just have to plug a cable in to the
router when ever you want and your on, no problems. Better yet a Linksys
Wireless router then you can do it from anywhere in your Apt.
