I have winfax 10.02 (the latest I have ever seen available) working
fine under XP. It took quite a while, including several
re-installations, to make it recognise the modem (already installed
and working under XP) etc.
I even have it working on a laptop with a GSM fax card.... that took
rather longer!!!
But one cannot enter the sender data like the fax and voice numbers.
Only the CSID can be entered and if you try to type in any of the
others the dialog box vanishes. I suspect the data is held in a file
somewhere, or in the registry, but thus far have not found it. The
winfax registry entry is under Delrina by the way (the original owner)
not Symantec. |
