Sometimes we over look the simplest things. Turned off Compriz and "bingo."

Thanks to one and all.


Also, if you get an error message that says, "org.hsqldb.lib" when running
Base, the fix is simple (no I ain't that smart, but Google is) load the
base file, do a "SaveAs," close out the current file and open the one you
saved. Works.
