Yours isn't a very informative background setup for a question.

It doesn't describe what 'method' is being used to install what Star
Office to what (presumably) linux distro and desktop environment.

The majority of linux distros of various DEs come with SO preinstalled.
The majority of linux distros and DEs use a package management system
which doesn't isolate any kind of process which resembles 'download and
unpack'.

So as a result, your question setup leaves the reader to imagine what
you are doing and why you are using the words you are using in the way
you are using them.

It is an interesting little game that some of those who help those who
ask questions play to try to guess at what the questioner was looking at
and thinking about and using when they were struck to ask the question,
but it isn't a good way to get the results you want.

Why don't you start by not assuming that anyone who is reading your post
knows what kind of operating system you are working with and what v. of
SO you are wanting to install and what method you are using to install
it.
