Paul,

You were correct about the GetFaxing site.......... there is a patch
that addresses the troubles I am having with Winfax not letting me
install the CSID and othere information.

They say the patch is for IE 7 not SP3 but I had WinFax on the machine
when I put in IE 7 not the other way around. I will try the free patch
and see what it does, they admit is is a limited one compared to what
you get when you are a paying member. But it might be well worth it if
it solves the problem that I spent so much time on.

It may well be that the cause is IE 7 and not SP3 IE7 has been on my
machine a long time and I never had a problem with WinFax. But I never
tried to re install it either.

Thanks I'll try it and let you all know!

Joe
