Are you by any chance running under "Parallels" on an Intel Mac? If so
please
visit "Parallels" support webpage. The problem may have to do with
"Parallels", not Windows XP per se.

If you are not running Parallels please state your OS and hardware setup;
you have not given any information about your software or hardware at all.
