Re: Slipstreaming SP3

From what I have read, it is not possible to slipstream Service Pack 3 with Windows XP 'Gold'...i.e., the original version of Windows XP.

Since Service Pack 2 *can* be slipstreamed with Windows XP Gold, is it possible to slipstream SP3 with a slipstreamed version of XP SP2? Or is that a ridiculous idea?

Thanks for your advice.

Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes _all previously released updates_ for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers' experience with the operating system. This white paper summarizes what is new in Windows XP SP3.
