| Re: Slipstreaming SP3 That is exactly how to do it. It means two slipstreaming processes to reach
an integrated XP SP3 cd. That's OK.
The problem is not that you can't slipstream XP Gold and SP3 directly. The
slipstreaming process works. It's the result that is the problem. Using
such a slipstreamed cd to install XP may produce an unreliable operating
system.

From what I have read, it is not possible to slipstream Service Pack 3 with
Windows XP 'Gold'...i.e., the original version of Windows XP.
Since Service Pack 2 *can* be slipstreamed with Windows XP Gold, is it
possible to slipstream SP3 with a slipstreamed version of XP SP2? Or is that
a ridiculous idea?
Thanks for your advice.
