What could be better than the Wiimote, the wireless controller that detects movement for game play? How about the Darwin, touted to offer better control--plus the ability to combine two controllers into one for two-person play! It uses gyroscopes and accelerometers as well as a compass to offer more realistic and accurate control. Does this sound fun or what!
According to Gizmodo, a company called Motus Corporation hopes to have the controller on the market by the end of the year, anticipating a cost of somewhere between $79 and $99. Motus builds hyper-realistic controllers to help golfers with their swing, and it's claimed that this background and the complexity they are already familiar with will give them the edge. I guess we'll have to wait until the end of the year to find out.
