Toshiba Portege M700 Tablet PC

by TQ on January 25, 2008

Darius Chang from CNET Asia reviews the Toshiba Portege M700 Tablet PC. Both a written and video review are available.

Darius focuses on the weight, LED screen for viewing in sunlight, and price. The Toshiba is not built for the consumer but mobile workers. Unfortunately, the built-in accelerometer may cause problems when in slate mode. The video shows the challenge best.

What are the benefits to the Tablet PC? The backlit-LED screen provides users the opportunity to work outside.

What about the price? Darius says the system is expensive! No. The Tablet PC base price is under $1,500 and Toshiba offers an optional touch-screen.
